All the anti mormons are just trying to convince you of the falseness and trying to find more proof that it is false. .. For example the archaeology and anthropology and DNA has proven most of the statements made in the Book of Mormon False... Yet you keep believing because your ';Holy Ghost'; told you to. And anti-mormon keep trying to find more evidence that proves it false and yet LDS need no evidence. They have it all worked out through faith. If you only accept the claims of anti-mormons as true and reject all claims by members of the LDS church I can see why you have that impression.





Having viewed both sides I'll tell you categorically that you're wrong and should you choose to list specifics then I'll show you individually and specifically how you're wrong.





However I'm interested, how exactly do you say that we have ';proof'; that the Book of Mormon didn't exist? Tell me, exactly what ';non-existent'; item is it that we hold tangible proof of. While you're thinking about that look up the word paradox and then think some more.














EDIT: How come pro-LDS sources seem to be not credible in your unbiased judgment yet the anti-mormon sources which often have a huge ax to grind seem to be fine for you.

First, the Book of Mormon has never been proven false and never will be. You and the antis out there have consistently ignored the evidence that supports the BofM. The murals on the walls of the Mayan temples clearly show two peoples living together, one light skinned and one dark skinned. Usually one seems to be subservient to the other. Sometimes they are shown as equal. This is one of the greatest proofs of the BofM around and yet the world ignores that little detail. When the Spanish came to America, they found the natives engaged in what appeared to be Christian rituals, including baptism, but their witness of these events were scourged from the official record and the scientific and religious world today overlook those facts.


Truth is that opposition has always tried to overthrow the truth. Wicked conspiracies do exist to hide the truth.


Consider the case of the mysterious ark on the high side of Ararat in Turkey. There is a lot of documentation about this artifact and yet constant opposition keeps the truth from coming out.
I am LDS and yes I have heard all of these arguments the funny thing is that their are several documentaries proving these same facts incorrect and inconsistent. However I think your real question is how can we belief that so much of this is true solely based on our faith. The answer is that we have prayed and we have received our own personnel confirmation that, what we believe is true. I get this question a lot and the answer is always the same we have gone through a process that has affirmed our faith and no it is not blind faith, it is faith confirmed by works. Just remember their are several things wrong with the bible and several things that prove it incorrect. so if your question is weather or not evidence proves the ';Book of Mormon'; is true you will also doubt the bible which (and I mean no offense saying this) means you doubt the existent of God in general and the is the first thing you need to deal with.
1. if there is any book which contradicts archeology, it is the bible. i laugh and laugh and laugh at christians who point the finger at mormons and their book. it's just a little bit calling the pot black.





2. there has NEVER been any kind of testing, following the proper scientific method (hypothesis, testing, publishing results) to the book of mormon.





there is a lot of bad science out there, if you can even call it that.
Perhaps you should re-read the Book of Mormon. Nowhere does it say that all of the inhabitants were Jews and nothing else. Just the opposite - Mormon was a pure descendant of Lehi - a ridiculous boast unless pure descendants were rare. One might as well claim to be a pure descendant of Noah or Adam.





Archaeology corroborates the Book of Mormon more and more each passing year. Just this past year, they proved that chickens existed in Central America before Columbus, and were identical in DNA to those in Polynesia. That's right along Lehi's proposed route. A non-Mormon archaeologist traced the family history of one Mayan tribe back to Jawbone, who came across the ocean. Jawbone is the literal interpretation of Lehi. Perhaps this is just coincidence. Maybe every American country has immigrants name Jawbone that came by ship before Columbus discovered the New World. ;-)
Maybe you think this because youre american, in Central America theres so many stories, and archeology that make the book of mormon story very plausible. Of course you have to be open minded to see the evidence and accepted, but if you ever get the chance go to Peru, Mexico and visit the native places. DNA hast proved anything

The Book of Mormon is not false. It is true and it is another testimony of Jesus Christ and backs up what the Bible says.

The book of mormon is a false bible they have added and detracted from the Spirit Word of Yaweh just like The charles t russell cult or more affectionantly known as JW's. Anything that doesn't teach that Jesus was God manifested in a man suit on earth and that he was born, crucified for our sins and on the third day was bodily resurected then I would avoid it. Jesus and devil are not brothers lucifer is a created being not a part of the Godhead.
I agree. If there is a god, I highly doubt he resides on a planet called Kolob....and that the holy city is Independence, Missouri. Or that Native Americans were jews a long time ago.
