Is there a God, or all we all following false religions and books made by men?

Please, I'm feeling a little separated from my religion right now, because I get these feelings and thoughts that there is no God., so I really need good, cold hard facts to make me believe in God.

and we believe in Jesus, Moses, ect. but they dont believe that Jesus is the son of god. we believe that Jesus was one of god's prophets(messanger).


He sent all prophets with one message to worship only the God.


But people make excesses in their religion and modify in it , sometimes say the prophet is a god or son for the god , and so on.


Till came the last prophet , Mohammed , believing in all the previous messages, not for one nation but for all the world.

I honestly believe religion was invented, to give people a sense of security and reason in their lives, otherwise everyone would be walking around saying ';why are we here, where did I come from, whats the reason for living';. There are so many different religions these days, and some that have been created within the past 30 years or so, so who knows who is right and wrong anymore. I believe that there is something greater than us out there, whether to call it God or not, I don't know.
you shouldn't need other peoples opinions to convince you if you really believe.





I just read some of the answers, and some really bothered me, when i was little i would have doubts about god and my grandmother would tell me ';those thoughts are the devils work'; but thinking back I feel as though saying that to another person is just a way of scaring them out of questioning what you are being told.
of course there is a G-d! who could possibly have made such an amazing world?? humans are imperfect. we all make mistakes. nobody or nothing could have made such a perfect world.


i agree with you on only one thing: which religion to chose. there are just some religions that do not cut it and are based on imperfect humans who wrote books that people live by. that does not make any sense to me. you need to get to the original source to find the truth.

God to many people is existent. to me religion is something that has become corrupt with ';sin'; people should not have to force or advertise religion it is actually more probable that the ';bible'; was written by someone else like a homeless guy on toilet paper for a few bucks to get something to eat but that s besides the point i believe that there was a god and a Jesus but i hardly believe they did any of there miracle things so to answer your question there WAS a god and we most likely are following religions and books made by men
If there was no God then we would not be here because we are his children and literal descendants of him. He is our Father the Father of our spirits and created us in his image and likeness. This life is our test to see what we will choose. Will we follow in our Father's footsteps and strive to become like him? Or will we shun him and follow after Satan and be blinded by Satan's lies. We all have the choice to live the Plan of Happiness that God has set up for us or to choose misery and become what Satan wants for us eternity in misery like unto himself. It all makes sense to me. I follow my heart and search for truth in all things and what I have found to be true makes a lot of sense. God lives and he loves us and only wants our happiness and wants us to become like him. Just as your father on earth wants your happiness and most likely wants you to become like him.
As far as God is concerned, you need only ask yourself. Never look to anyone else to tell you what to know or believe to be real. Also, keep in mind that faith and religion are two separate things that USUALLY go hand in hand. You can have faith without celebrating a religion. You need to follow what your heart truely believes.





I am against organized religion. I do not believe that something that preaches peace, something that is supposed to make you feel alive and whole, should tear you down and make you feel regret. I do have faith though. I believe in a higher power (I personally don't think of it as God, or as a person/people it just is.) watching over me and helping me when I need help. I have come back from near death many times. I can't not believe.





And if you are concerned about whether your god will be angry about your questioning, don't be. If you've grown up believing in the bible, then you should know that God gave man free will. And that sometimes you need to discorver your spirital path to know yourself.

Look up at the sky at night or at a butterfly emerging from a crysalis on a Budding flower. The very fact that you can think to ask this question is evidence that you have abstract thought and reasoning.


What do you think? That's between you and God. Ask him to honestly show you. We can't show you.



i cant give u evidence that there is god n i cant force u its all belongs to how u feel who do u follow what is ur religion n i can only ask u if u can read the bible n one more think just go to ur room n ask god talk to him tell him how u feel n ask him to show u the truth n am sure ull b fine no matter what is ur religion read the bible take it as story like am christian i read about all the religions but theres one thing i wont do is to ignore jesus n follow any other gods
well, it's everyone's opinion, but i believe there is a god. as for facts, it's kind of just a faith thing; that's what makes it religion. maybe pray about it if you do that, and you will know in your heart eventually.
Hang in there. The Lord said there is going to be a great falling away first! (Alot of people are in your shoes right now!) Yes, there is God! Just remember, Acts 4:10-12, and Romans 10:9-13, and don't forget!
God knows your heart and God knows your confusion. If you seek, knowlege, you will be directed to whatever it is you are supposed to know.
God isn't a religion, God is a relationship.
If there was no God, you would've not thought about him much. But the devil works day and night with anything he has to keep you away from God. The thoughts are the biggest battle in a persons life that devil attacks.
There is insufficient empirical evidence to support the hypothesis of a god and/or gods.
Go with what you believe. There are no cold hard facts that will make you believe in god. Whatever religion (or lack thereof) you choose, be happy with your choice.
I can assure you with absolute certainty that The One True God, the creator of all that is this universe, does indeed exist.... but neither I nor any other living mortal, can prove it to you... the only proof may come from God directly... and that is between you and God... until you are willing to submit yourself to Him in The Way He prescribes you will remain separated from God...





All who come to God in The Way He prescribes will receive His free, and eternal, gift of Salvation. Those become a part of The Body of The Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head. Those are the ones of The True Christian Faith. Only those of The Church will enter Heaven
