Believers if all the books were demonstrated to be false, would this mean there was no god

is it not possible that only the books are false doctrine; made up by intelligent but profoundly ignorent, puzzled men, who were trying to understand their enviorenment and how it came to beBelievers if all the books were demonstrated to be false, would this mean there was no god
It's possible :-), but I don't see why someone would put so much time and effort into such works if they didn't feel confident about the veracity of what they were writing about.

If all the books were demonstrated to be false, then no, it wouldn't mean there was no God, it would just mean that men wrote the wrong stuff down, like for example, Mohammed.Believers if all the books were demonstrated to be false, would this mean there was no god
Not possible. Forgetting for a minute that the level of consistency in the message across multiple authors written over the course of a couple of thousand years suggests these men were, at the very least, not ignorant, it simply isn't possible to demonstrate that they are all false. Any evidence you could use to support the conclusion would be, by definition, just as likely to be false.

If you can give me an example to illustrate how you would demonstrate those writings to be false (not specific historical inaccuracies but ';all the books';), then I might be able to provide a better answer.
Yes its possible that theres a God and that none of the religions have it right.

I beleive that there is a God, and that the Christian religion has it right though.

(there are alot of differences in its self, with all the denominations, i cant tell you who exactly has it right of them)
In your dreams it may happen.

The possibility is always on who is interpreting the Bible for you and there are two possible thing that may come as a lie,

1.Your own interpretations

2. Religious interpretations biased to their own thinking and

interests..
No; not at all. - It would simply mean that whomever judged such books to be false, (though so proven and so full of the TRUTH they are), would have made a grave mistake, and would be subject unto the discipline of God!

Personally, I would be most apprehensive in even going near such an undertaking myself.

Why??? - Because it would only be foolishness to 'jack around' with the very WORD OF GOD; the very MIND OF GOD,Himself.

Give it a shot!...and see what happens! Just let me 'get out of the way' before you do!!!!!!!!!!!

God bless.
No, it is not possible because I know from my own personal experience that God is very real. The Bible or what it says is not what convinced me. It is first hand experience that has shown me that at least most of what the Bible says is true of my God. He is awesome.
This clever question should prove fruitful. It assumes their religion is false and asks if their religion would be false. Circular questions are clever by atheist standards. We don't know logic so good.
That wouldn't necessarily prove that God does not exist. It would only prove ';the books'; are wrong. Most of the Old Testament was written by those trying to understand their environment.
The books could be false, but there would still be the possibility of the existence of deities.
there is also secular historical documents that can prove the existence of Jesus. also geological evidence.
I think that has pretty much been demonstrated already.
Never happen Chuckie

God Is. and His word is true.

If rainbows were to fly out of my backside that must mean I should support homosexuality? Perhaps.....but it ain't gonna happen
I dont have any books that I follow or believe in

but I do believe in a God

so the answer is no ... disproving a book does not disprove a God

nor does it prove a God for that matter though

No

If there were a God he

would have existed before writing
No, if the creation didn't exist, then maybe we could say that there is no creator.
I guess anything is possible. So it's down to what you believe.
it would just reiterate the flaws and imperfection of man.
No. They all have lies in them by man. It just means religion is stupid, not God.
not in my opinion
';IF'; pigs would fly, we'd all be shooting for ham.
