Nina, I think your questions are good. It is understandable they insult you. I hope you block Michelle for a while, she does not really give you answers. She is the one who is spewing hatered, who knows who she is.
For the most part, it's probably false. Unfortunately from what I've seen, ex-JWs leave because of the way that they're treated, not because of any theological differences. Hating the Watchtower only helps those who hate the Watchtower.
Haven't read the book yet, but there is plenty of information out there that exposes this man made religion for what it sadly is...nothing more than a cult. Many are beginning to use their critical thinking skills again and becoming aware of what the JWs and many others are all about. Fear is what's stopping many from leaving.
