Is Jesus a false Christ according to the book of Acts?

2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Is Jesus a false Christ according to the book of Acts?
No. All scripture needs to be taken in context. Is Jesus a false Christ according to the book of Acts?
No
wow, look at your first verse again.
do u believe n christ jesus
I see where you are going with this. Jesus was a very good teacher, but I do not believe he was the son of G-d. I do not think that G-d would ever need to take on a human form, as he is a spiritual being. Then again I am Jewish so my answer may be slightly biased.
Just because false christ would arise doesn't mean that Jesus was one of them.

I would like to see, just once, an atheist answer a question with anything more substantial than ';God doesn't exist because I said so.';
Watch and you will see, Many will come and claim to be Christ and will lead many astray. Many will follow them and accept them. Many religons have come up making many claims and have lead many to their graves. Jim Jones did it, Many others have done the same. Many more are to come. It was a warning of what to expect and what will come.

Remember all you have to do is watch, if a person is a real Christian it will show by their actions and not their words. They will be difference, they will be real and they will be someone that you least expect.

Beware of those who judge and tell you what you have to be, if it is real it will show.

Dead Man Walking
This question seems designed primarily to insult Christians. Yet true Christians are unsurprised by such attacks.

(John 15:19) If you were part of the world, the world would be fond of what is its own. Now because you are no part of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, on this account the world hates you.

(Luke 6:22) “Happy are you whenever men hate you, and whenever they exclude you and reproach you and cast out your name as wicked for the sake of the Son of man.

(1 Peter 4:4) Because you do not continue running with them in this course to the same low sink of debauchery, they are puzzled and go on speaking abusively of you.

(2 Timothy 4:3-5) For there will be a period of time when they will not put up with the healthful teaching, but, in accord with their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves to have their ears tickled; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, whereas they will be turned aside to false stories. You, though, keep your senses in all things, suffer evil, do the work of an evangelizer, fully accomplish your ministry.
';Shall arise'; is future tense. Therefore it is unlikely that this refers to Jesus.
No. 24:24 refers to others that claim to be christ who will come after Jesus. AS you yourself read in 2:22, Jesus was approved by God - and the reference in 24:24 is said much later!
One of many Jimbo.
According to what Christians deem the Old Testament he his a fake.
No Jesus was the true Christ whom you compare the false christ too. It says ';there SHALL arise false christ,'; evident they had not come yet.

Messenger

that wasn't worth your time to type
Okay so if you don't believe in Jesus Christ or the bible. So what why are you so angry about it? What are you trying to prove? For you it's disbelief. Give it up and try something more creative and satisfying starting fights and trying to prove your point will not work on believers. Try going outside once in a while walk in the park, get your frustration out in another way.
Thank you for providing the reference for discussion and not expecting us to go look for it. It doesn't look to me from your texts that it speaks to Jesus as being a false Christ. It warns of false Christs but doesn't say Jesus is one of them.
No, the false Christ, also called the anti-Christ, is Satan. The false prophets are people that testify against Jesus Christ and the teachings of the Bible. The anti-Christ will come and try to bring people ';to the dark side'; if you will and destroy all of the Christians. Those who follow the anti-Christ give themselves over to an eternity of suffering and burning in Hell. Try reading Revalations. If anyone has questions, contact me.
No. This is obvious.
No, that is a prophesy that will soon come, the muslims and jews will probably belive in them

Jesus Christ is true
Shall rise is past tense, do you remember English class? I have a question for you...do you believe in Darwinism? Cuz you do know that Darwin, on his death bed, turned to Christ and admitted that Christ was God? And that he admitted to manipulating information to make up his theory of evolution. I don't know if you've gone to college or not, but there are some GREAT teachers out there with proof and information (and not all of them are Christians, a lot of them are atheist)...that you could probably learn from and gain some accurate information
No, the Bible doesn't contradict it self that was a totally different book you quoted in the second part, that is Matthew 24 and it was Jesus that was giving the warning, so would he say that he was the false Christ after warning them that many will come in his name that are false? Acts was also highlighting the fact that Jesus was the Christ. So do not use scripture to mix and twart the truth.
i do not follow your logic jim
';Jesus'; Christ is the real deal! 24:24 refers to Darwin.
