How can anyone still recommend Hal Lindsey's books when they are outdated and proven false ?

He predicted that the End would be by 1988.How can anyone still recommend Hal Lindsey's books when they are outdated and proven false ?
His book ';Satan is a live and well on planet earth'; helped open my eyes and led me towards Christ. The doctrine and prophecies he taught had nothing to do with. It was the concept of the title of the book that made lots of sense to me. I moved on to other teachers after that book and I do not follow him these days and yes I agree the book is outdated and false but it helped me and it could help others.How can anyone still recommend Hal Lindsey's books when they are outdated and proven false ?
The same way people still recommend the bible when it's outdated and proven false.





Many people believe what they want to believe, and care little for evidence.
I can't understand that either.
